GM Flow was founded in 2014 to improve gas flow measurement for the oil and gas industry and has developed its own range of patented products: Adjusta-Cone, Integra-Cone and the latest offering, Hy-Cone, designed specifically for hydrogen.
These provide flexible, accurate, durable and safe gas flow measurement devices for a wide range of applications.
GM Flow launched Hy-Cone in Q2 2022, for low pressure electrolyser and high pressure hydrogen fuelling applications.
We use customer feedback extensively, so we design products which can exceed their expectations. They tell us they either don’t currently measure the flow rates (in electrolysers), or if they do (for fuelling applications) they are not satisfied by the current technology’s durability, accuracy and cost.
Hy-Cone provides a solution for both these applications in one common product.
Hy-Cone™ LP is used by electrolysis manufacturers to monitor the performance of their product.
By maintaining a continuous watch on the electrolyser’s efficiency, they can quickly spot any issues and plan maintenance activities better to maximise electrolyser efficiency and output.
Hy-Cone™ HP is used for hydrogen fuelling applications where rugged design, high pressure rating and accurate flow rate measurement is required.
Both products measure the flowing pressure and temperature as part of the measurement, maximising accuracy of the reading.
